Linda's Trip - Day 3

Once again, the plumbing house fiasco continues... We got up this morning and our toilets were flushing and everything seemed to be going accordingly...we were soooo wrong! Being the domestic housewife that I am, I put a load of laundry in and continued to get ready. Soon, I heard the bubbling and gurgling from the toilets again. Oh great! I immediately checked the shower and the bathtub and saw corn and other unrecognizable particles floating in the bottom of our shower!!!! GROSS!!! We have never even had corn in this house yet it was coming up through our shower drain!!!!! It looked like throw up and it was just floating in the bottom!!! EWWWW!!!! We figured out it was happening when the washer started to drain so we called a plumber and they told us to call the city of Lawton and have them come look at it. Much to our anguish, their line was clear from their end. Now it was the plumbers turn and they saved the day!!! Clean pipes for our house!!!! YEAH!!! Praise Jesus!
We started off the day with an awesome lunch from Burgess! Yummy burgers! Then we headed to drive around Fort Sill and show Linda all the cool buildings and historical sites. As soon as we got on post, we saw some of the military men folding the flag and taking down the colors for the night. It was a neat sight.

Then we went to the north side of post and looked at all of the flood damage. The water is still rushing out of control!
Carey, Momma L and Momma J posing oh so pretty...

We walked over to the wildlife park to see all the animals.

Here is one turkey talking to another turkey...

He apparently didn't like what was being said...

The momma deer...The baby deer...

The daddy deer...

The buck and his fawn...

The beautiful white cliffs...

God Bless You!!!
